“Excellent Hotel - only 2 years old!”

This was our second visit to Bangkok and we really loved the Millennium Hilton! The hotel is directly on the river with fantastic views of the city from the Lounge on the top floor. It is located on the east side of the river, directly across from all the major 5 star hotels in the area and next to the Peninsula Hotel. There was a water shuttle boat that took us to the sky train for easy acess to other parts of the city. It was much more convenient than I had anticipated. It was a great location.
The rooms were beautiful with wonderful, luxurious duvet bedding. The hotel amenities were 5 star!
One of the things we remembered most from our last trip to Bangkok was how gracious and kind the Thai people are. This trip was no exception. The Hilton staff were eager to please us and attentive to our needs.
I have highly recommend this hotel to our friends!

“FANTASTIC!!!”

Millennium Hilton Bangkok

We arrived very tired, so being asked to upgrade etc washed over my head, thankfully my husband was listening and OH MY GOODNESS............. for £40 extra for the two for us for two nights we got the executive louge benefits, food throughout the day, and 2 1/2 hours of cocktails in the evening! That was all before we saw the REAL benefit of upgrading - THE ROOM, the width of it was a window overlooking the river and city and what a view. I stood a looked I don't know how many times and just couldn't get bored of it. Beautiful bathroom with jacuzzi and slats looking through to the bedroom.

The hotel operates a lift system using your key to keep non residents out.

Modern and clean with an amazing food selection in the ground floor restaurant.

Pool and beach area (yes beach!) is on the 4th floor anf the sunbeds are potitioned in the water and overlook the city. There are elegant sun bathing areas and secluded beach sun loungers too.

Being positioned on the opposite side of the river to the main centre there is a free taxi boat every 10 minutes or so the take you across where you can get the tourist boat to take you up and down the river or to the train service whih is very efficient.

The steak restaurant was amazing and we ust had to eat the most pampered cow in history....... a virgin Japanese female cow, walked daily, drank beer, massaged with straw and played calming music the only thing we could have added to the menu description was that it was smothered with a soft pillow in it's sleep! At £70 for just one fillet steak was a little steep, but you only live once and it was worth every penny (or baht!) It literally melted in your mouth just as the waitress said it would.

FANTASTIC
recomended and booked through Tropical Collection

“Great Hotel!!”

The two major hotels that we stayed at in Bangkok were the Millenium Hilton and the Banyan Tree. I have to say that the Millenium Hilton was by far a better deal. The staff was so friendly and accomodating. They went out of their way to help us get around the city. The hotel offers a free shuttle across the river and to skytrain which was awesome. The pool is really neat, with lounge chairs that actually sit in the pool itself. On top is a restaurant (a bit expensive) but gives great views of lower Bangkok. The hotel is located in the "luxury hotel district" surrounded by the Penninsula, Sheraton, and Oriental hotels. We had to leave at 3am to catch a flight at the airport and the hotel staff was so helpful in getting a taxi and making sure they used the meter so we didnt get ripped off. I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again, we loved it.

I just return from Hilton millenium bangkok that is fantastic.First of all the location along the river is great with a shuttle boat everything 20 mn to the main pier where you can take the BTS train and boat.Perfect way to circulate in the city. We stayed 4 night in a suite. It was large 70m2 and fully equipped. The access to executive lounge is abosultely worth. Every day they prepared a buffet for aperitive from 6:30 to 8:30 that you can easily considered as a light dinner.
They have a great outside pool where swimming at sunset after a day of visit is really relaxing.
Design of the hotel is superb as well as the service always smiling, supportive and efficient. There are maybe better hotel in Bangkok but the value for money you can get there is really very good.

“The Best”

Millennium Hilton Bangkok

I visit Bangkok once a year and love to stay along the river for the view and avoid the traffic jam to/from airport. I stayed in Oriental, Peninsula and Shangri-La before and they are all very good. If price is not a concern, Oriental is still the best. When consider the price together, Hilton become my favorite in BKK now. It is much cheaper than Oriental and Peninsular but the stay is comparably enjoyable. The restaurant – FLOW is very beautiful and serves excellent breakfast. We also have buffet dinner there and the food and service are of top standard. The oysters, seafood and Thai food are the best among Asian hotels. Don't forget to go to the pool; it is one of the best in world. No kids play around and we could just “floating” on water relaxingly. It is a totally different world from downtown BKK.
