Bellagio Las Vegas

My partner & I stayed at the Bellagio Hotel in May 2008 for 4 nights. We chose the Bellagio as we wanted to stay in Vegas in "True Las Vegas style". We paid appox. $380 per night (not incl tax) for a Partial Lakeview Room. It was on a higher floor of the hotel as it was not just a basic room. The room came with a King Size Bed, Cable TV, the biggest Mini-Bar you have ever seen, Spa & even button operated curtains & blinds. The bathroom has 2 basins set on a marble bench. Even the floor in the bathroom was marble. The King Size bed is the most comfortable bed we have ever slept on. As we arrived, the reception was crowded with people checking in. It took only 5 minutes to get checked in despite the crowd of people. The reception staff were friendly & helpful. The room was beautiful & classy with the most spectular view of the Strip. The Bellagio Fountains come on every 30 minutes during the day & every 15 minutes at night time. The fountains are synchronised to music which you can listen to through the TV in the room while you watch it. Every facility you can think of can be found at this hotel, but most, if not all come at a price & it's not cheap. The location is great as the hotel is smack bang right in the middle of the Strip. If you are happy walking, you can walk to all hotels on the Strip from the Bellagio but it will take a few days as there is so much to do at each. If not, there is a bus that runs from one end of the Strip to the other at a cheap price. You can also catch a Monorail from one hotel to the next but this is more expensive. The Buffet at the Bellagio is the best buffet we have ever been. It cost us $27 and included the most amazing food; America (Including Roasts), Italian (including every pizza & pasta dish you can imagine), Chinese, Japanese, Seafood & Desserts. The Bellagio Hotel is absolutely fantastic & is your typical Las Vegas hotel. Everything in Vegas is so over the top, and so too is the Bellagio. The only downfall is the price. There are plenty of other hotels that cost a lot less for the same service.

“Exceeded Expectations - Great Hotel”

Bellagio Las Vegas

Me and my Boyfriend stayed at the Bellagio for 2 nights in August and it truly was a spectacular hotel. We had a fountain view room and I can’t recommend these rooms enough, the fountains are mesmerising and that’s part of why you stay at the Bellagio.

The rooms were spotless with one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in, the bathroom was stunning but the view was without a doubt the best feature. The ice buckets in your room were filled for you daily which I thought was a very nice touch.

Outside of the room the hotel was amazing. The pool area was always busy but with around 4 pools and plenty of seating, there was no problem with fining somewhere to sunbathe. The hotel has the largest chocolate fountain in the world, which is definitely worth a look, as are the shops. The casino was fun, however, this casino is for the high rollers so we generally chose somewhere else on the strip to have a little flutter!

The Bellagio has plenty of restaurants to choose from, but we took advantage of the buffet which had a huge selection and was very reasonably priced, around $30 after 4pm and $20 before. There was a huge selection of food including Italian, Chinese, Japanese and seafood and it was all top class.

The only negative parts were check-in, which was very slow due to the huge queue, we did however get into our room over an hour earlier than the 3pm check-in time, and the fact that you have to pay to use the internet and gym over and above the room price.

The Bellagio is expensive for Las Vegas, we paid around $580 for 2 nights, but I booked it as a surprise for my boyfriend on our trip across America and it was definitely worth the money. I would highly recommend it for special occasions and a treat!!

“Way, way overrated”

I will preface by saying that on my last two trips to Vegas I stayed at the Wynn and the Augustus Tower at Caesars, so my expectations were high as both of those properties were fantastic. My expectations were quickly crushed upon arrival. We arrived at about 8pm on Sunday night. THe wait for valet parking was about 20 minutes, maybe a bit longer. When we finally did reach the front of the valet line, the wait for a bellman was another 5-10 minutes. Check in? You guessed it. Another wait - this time well over 30 minutes. When we finally reached the front of the line we were advised that they didn't have a non-smoking room with 2 beds as we had requested. Annoying. No apologies, just the option of a smelly smoking room or 1 bed. We opted for one bed. The room itself was not much nicer than those in some mid-range hotels that I have stayed in. Smallish and fairly generic. There was a large stain on the carpet and someone else's hair in the bed. I called housekeeping and had my first pleasant experience with the Bellagio. The attendant who came was prompt, friendly and took care of the hair and when we told him that we weren't loving our experience at Bellagio, he called someone and brought us a nice rollaway bed at no charge. The service from that point forward was pretty good. The overall experience was not at all what I would expect of a hotel of the caliber that Bellagio purports to be. We checked out early and stayed at the Trump. I will review that as well.

We stayed here as part of a 6 night stay 2 weeks ago. We broke up our stay between here and the Flamingo. This was the 2nd of the 3 night. We booked a Water view and were not disappointed. Worth the extra cost. The rooms are an OK size with everything you would need. Nice and dark for that extra sleep on in the morning. We had a problem with our original room which was non-smoking but smelt Smokey. I went to the front desk and they changed us to the room next door immediately. Was the only fault I could give. The pool and casino are very clean and nice and would recommend. Against the Flamingo I’d say this was for people who liked a quieter time around the pool

“a few initial bumps but the management made up for it very well!”

Bellagio Las Vegas

As frequent visitors to Veqas we have tried a number of hotels on the strip but this was our first time with Bellagio. We stayed 3 nights and while the first 24 hours had a few issues the overall stay was very good. Specifically the A/C in our room didn't work properly (and we had to report it three times) and the housekeeping was obviously not complete and it to be re-cleaned when we checked in.

However, once we spoke to someone would could do something about it, they were very gracious, understanding and promptly moved us to a different room. And to compensate, we were moved to a suite in the new tower. We didn't request that, but it was graciously offered. The front desk staff and concierge were exceptional.

The spa tower is far better than the original both in decorating and in location. And the new room had the same lake view that we originally reserved.

Food was good throughout. But what really stands out was the service. We would defintely stay here again.
