“A Great Vacation!”

I have stayed in Las Vegas a few times in the past few years. I have always stayed on the Strip. I found a great air/hotel package to the Venetian, so I booked it. I really enjoyed the hotel and all of its amenities the entire trip! The staff was very nice and accomodating. I upgraded to a view of the strip when I got there and it was worth it. It looked out over the pools and the strip towards Treasure Island. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. I especially liked the bathroom. It was very large with everything that you could want in a bathroom, including a flat screen tv, a make up vanity, and fresh flowers. To me, it's the little extras that make it even better. We ate room service for breakfast each morning and it was good (although a bit expensive). The pools were great! There was always plenty of room to swim and to find a lounge chair when needed. It was quite relaxing. I ate in the hotel food court one day and I enjoyed it. There's a nice variety of restaurants in various price ranges. I checked out the Palazzo next door and it is nice. However, I felt more comfortable at the Venetian. I will most likely stay at this hotel again next year!

“A great trip”

Spent 4 nights at the Venezia tower on the Club floor. It was great. Breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails with snacks were included. Basically, whenever you wanted drinks or bottled water, it was available. The staff went out of their way to be accommodating. Pay the difference and stay on the club floors. A few drinks each evening during happy hour more than offsets the price difference. I'd suggest a view of the strip . . . during the day it's nothing special, but at night with all the lights . . it's quite a view!! I honestly must say, I don't get the negative reviews . . . there was always staff that was willing to go out of their way . . . even on the gaming floor, I saw lots of cocktail waitresses bringing lots of drinks to everyone. I would stay here again. The location is central to everything . . . it's all within walking distance.

“Treated with contempt”

After a three week vacation we decided for last two days prior to flight home to stay at Venetian . After a nine hour drive we arrived somewhat dishevelled only to discover they had lost our reservation and wished to charge the full rack rate. Luckily I had the ph no of the agency that we always use and they again faxed the details to the Venetian.
No apology offered and if penalty not existed we would have walked out
This hotel fine if you spend ages finding your way around but for two days the frustration simply not worth it
Thanks Venetian for a well learnt lesson as in future we will do our usual and stay off strip.
Yes the hotel is lovely and most staff more than helpful but the negatives of this huge badly signposted hotel far outstrips the grand rooms and public areas

“Stunning but not perfect”

The hotel itself is totally stunning and over the top. The check in was nice and simple with no queues however when we got to our suite both the blinds and curtains didn't work so housekeeping tried and failed to fix it, one of our minifridges wasn't stocked or working either, on the tv only some channels worked which was dissapointing.

“Rest and Relaxation”

Venetian Resort Hotel Casino

5 of 5 stars

Stayed at The Venetian when it originally opened and thought it was incredible. Not to much has changed, we went with family and had two rooms. One room was in the original Venetian tower most have just been renovated and they are spectacular! The other room we had was in the Venezia tower, it was worn but it was still beautiful. I am sure in the next year or so those will be renovated as well. The Venezia tower had its own private lobby/check in area, a private pool and garden, and a restaurant.

We only had one issue, when we first arrived they were so busy the valet area was not very organized and some man directing traffice sent us to the wrong area. Check in was a breeze, the clerk made sincere conversation and offered us the Venezia tower as an upgrade. Our room was on the third floor, but because of the way the tower it set up it was technically the 13th floor. We still had great luck, the housekeeping staff was superb. Everything we needed they attended to immediately. This is one of the few trips we actually spent more time enjoying our stay in ther room rather than out and about. We brought wine and cheeses and snacks of all sorts. One of my other friends was also in town at the Bellagio and they came to hang out and socialize. The best part of the trip was that we only paid $100.00 for the room because of a special internet offer they extended to me. The only other complaint was that ice was a mile away to fill the ice chest, but our ice bucket was filled by the housekeeping staff nightly. Our only regret was that we could have stayed the whole week and enjoyed the resort. But who would have known we are usually sick of Vegas after the third day.
