Always heard stories of Harbour Town being in bad shape, but when we played it last week the entire experience was excellent.
The golf is a little pricey $225 - $250, but you're playing a PGA Tour course here. Recommend you check on the greens conditions regarding aeration before you play.
Course is very narrow and greens very small, which makes it a unique experience. You see the water on the 17th green and the entire 18th hole leading up to the famous lighthouse.
All staff were extremely friendly. You get a "free" course book when you check in, as well as range balls. The course is walkable, as it is flat, of course.
What makes the experience so unique is that you are playing a course that is a regular PGA Tour stop that is different than all the other courses because of the tight fairways and small greens. It is common to have an approach shot from the fairway that requires you to go over, under or around an overhanging tree. The golf course is varied, interesting, difficult and fair. All in all, a very good experience.
