The first impression upon walking into the open-air lobby was "wow", and we weren't disappointed. We (3 adults, 2 children) stayed in a two-bedroom suite on the seventh floor, overlooking the nicely landscaped courtyard. The rooms were tastefully furnished and clean; kitchen adequately supplied with pots/flatware,etc; and the washer/drier combo was an unexpected premium.

Two pools kept the kids entertained. They also loved the small beach fronting the property. Great sand for building sandcastles and small waves that were ideal for bodysurfing.

The restaurant is not fancy, but it has a good selection of moderately priced meals ... from prime rib to hamburgers.

We found the Kaanapali Shores a great value and would return.

My wife and I stayed here for our wedding and were very pleased. The room was clean and we loved the beautiful garden view. The birds were a bit noisy early in the morning since we always kept the patio doors open. Service was impeccable and the staff were very friendly. The restaurant served delicious food. At the time of our stay, one of the pools was undergoing renovations, but we still were able to enjoy the other pool and easy access to the beach. We are planning a return trip to Maui to celebrate an anniversary and would not hesitate staying here again!

Had a fantastic time at Kaanapali shores. The condo was perfect, the staff at the hotel and the Expedia staff on sight were very effecient and helpful. They helped us book some events and all went smoothly and all was as good as they said it would be. Enjoyed the pool, beach and on sight restaurant. Staff at restuarant extremely pleasant also. We enjoyed the fact that there was on sight shopping and necessities so that we didn't have to leave the premises for the little things. Will recommend these condos to many. Thanks again for a great time.

Recently, my wife and I stayed at your hotel. (05/16/2008 to 05/31/2008) Our room was#806.We had a single bedroom with a partial ocean view. A full kitchen with washer and dryer. We would both like to say thank you for a job well done. Everyone that we had contact with was very,very nice. The house cleaning staff for our room was excellent. The security guard that we had contact with was very nice. (An older gentleman).The front desk people were also very nice.The staff at the Beach Club were also very nice. This made for a very positive experience. All the people working at this hotel that we had contact with made us feel very welcome. The grounds of this hotel were kept neat and clean. We had a great view from the eighth floor. I saw one person on his hands and knees cleaning the flagstone with a scrub brush. The staff always seemed to be working very hard at this hotel, to keep it clean inside and out. A very nicely managed hotel.
