“Absolutely great service”

We stayed at this B&B as part of a 3 week trip around the Hawaiian Islands for our honeymoon. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and I have never stayed anywhere which offers the guest quite so much - free use of the laundry room, kitchen, internet access, pool, snorkel equipment, cookies, chocolates, drinks etc etc.
Our room was very spacious, clean and quiet with a personal hot tub.
Good location - walking distance to the Old Lahaina Luau. You can see the ocean in the distance when sitting out by the pool.
I would recommend this B&B to anyone. Aloha!

“Our favorite place!”

We went to 3 islands over 15 days for our honeymoon. We used trip reviews from Tripadvisor to find all our accomodations. We truly found a hidden gem in Maui. The Guest House offers all the amenities that you would possibly need: a fully stocked kitchen, cozy common areas, and amazing breakfasts. Also, they had coolers, beach chairs, beach towels, laundry facilities, 100's DVD's, free internet & phone... and most importantly, super friendly staff!

Definitely stay here to avoid the resort crowds and be nearby downtown Lahaina. Within the privacy of our own room, we had a full bath with skylights, a plasma TV, 2 beds (1 Queen & 1 Twin), our own lanai overlooking the private backyard with a private jacuzzi.

We stayed here for 3 nights but wished we stayed there all our nights on Maui. If you are looking for beautiful accomodations, great amenities, friendly guests & staff, all for a great deal, Maui Guest House is where you should stay.

PS: Best beaches (that we found), Ka'anapali (closest), Big Beach (45 min away, but SO worth it).
Also, definitely do the Old Lahaina Luau - great food, drinks, and show.

“A Gem”

Even though I'd seen photos of the Guest House online I wasn't prepared for how spacious and beautiful it looks inside. The attention to detail is incredible. Even though we were in the smallest room (Puka) we felt pampered with our own hot tub, at least 1,000 DVD's in their library, a washer/dryer to use, fully outfitted kitchen, free long distance phone, snorkel and beach equipment, abundant breakfast.

Owner Tanni welcomed us to share Christmas leftovers one evening then entertained us with tales of her travels and adventures. She's a kick!

I wish we'd stayed there longer and will definitely recommend it.

“Wonderful place to stay on Maui”

Maui Guest House

This was our 3rd stay here, so we obviously love it! The staff is truly wonderful and helpful. The house is definitly not what you expect from the street. It is quite large inside, and the decor is ralaxing and inviting. The breakfasts are a treat. They are basically self-serve and available early for those on the go, or later if you don't rise early. Wireless internet is available as well as a guest PC. DVDs and videos galore are available to view in your room. They have guidebooks to borrow and CDs for the trip to Hana. The staff will help you book your day trip to Lanai or Molokai or ... and if there is a discount to them, they will pass it on. They will give you insider tips on where to eat great food for less. It is nice to have a pool available to use when you want. Guests may use the kitchen to cook meals and the spices, etc are provided. They have a grill by the pool if you want to use it, too.
As another reviewer wrote, part of me wants to keep this to myself, but Tana and company deserve the praise! We will be back to our favorite place to stay on Maui!

“Loved It!”

Maui Guest House

It was our 1st time staying at a B&B, changed our original reservations from a hotel to this B&B from reading all of the reviews. Glad we did! We got there late at night and our host was waiting with a smile, showed us around. It was not what I expected from the outside, it was huge. Our room was huge, a queen bed and a twin bed. Enough room for my husband, my teenager, and myself. Loved the large walk-in shower, in-room hot tub, large flat screen tv, refridge, small private patio, and stained glass everywhere. Also loved the full stocked kitchen for our use to cook but we didn't use it. Breakfast in the a.m. had many different hot/cold cereals, fruit, bagels, muffins, coffee, juices, milk, english muffins, etc. There was DVDs galore. The pool was awesome, just what we needed after a hot day and hot night. We only stayed there 2 days and wished we had more time to spend at the B&B instead of running around the island. Will have to make it back there and enjoy the B&B more.
