We had booked this room via Priceline for a great deal of $100/night in the October season, and were nicely surprised. The resort is very pleasant and comfortable, and the main thing is that the room we received in the tower was excellently furnished, with modern renovated decor, bathroom, and beds.
I had been a little apprehensive about receiving this hotel via Priceline because of prior reviews about the cottages being a little outdated and in mediocre condition, but it certainly does not apply to the tower rooms -- they are beautiful. And I verified beforehand by calling the hotel that our Priceline room would be in the tower.
There was free wireless internet access, a pretty good deal on early dinner ($25/person, which we unfortunately didn't get to try), and a very nice beach area.
The only flaws were -- 1) that we smacked a cockroach in the bathroom one of the nights, but quickly disposed and forgot about it. 2) Parking is $10/day, I believe, which is basically mandatory (kind of like a resort fee) because there is no other convenient parking around there. 3) parts of the hotel could use, or are actively being renovated, such as the lobby (being fixed up) or elevators (which look a little outdated).
Other than that, we enjoyed our stay very much, and were pleased with the deal we got!
