My girlfriend and I spend 3 nights at the hotel over July 4th weekend. We had a great weekend and would deffinitly stay at the Hyatt again (depending on price). We received an excellent rate using AAA that was the lowest rate for any 4 star hotel in the downtown that weekend.
The location is average, very close to the subway and walkable to the rest of the city. I think next time I would like to stay at the Marriott near the Warf to be closer to the north end (my favorite part of Boston). It's about a 15 minute walk to Copley and 10 minutes to the big dig.
The room was above average and had a good city view. Not much noise from the adjoining room or outside the door. We kept the TV on when we were in the room so that usually drowns out most of the noise. The bathrooms are average for a four stay property. The curved shower curtain rod and upgraded shower head was a nice touch but the space is a bit small.
We both paid for 60 minute massages in the Hyatt health club. I made the arrangements using the Hyatt online concierge without a problem. We both had some background noise from the pool and workout equipment during our treatments but we still really enjoyed the massages.
