Yes, this hotel is under construction. The lobby, as such is non-existent. However, we were greeted outside by the concierge and our bags we taken directly to our room. Our room was newly renovated and out of the construction area. We were initially concerned since we could see the Hard Rock café from our window, but this proved to cause no problem. We slept wonderfully, the king-size bed was a dream and there was no noise. The bathroom was great. The shower was of the rain shower variety – soft but with plenty of water (soft water too). Hotel food, typically, was very expensive, but being close to Faneuil Hall (or as a Boston cabbie answered when asked how to pronounce it – “Qunizy Mahket”), there were plenty of less expensive food options. Other worthy of mentions; the robes were great, large flat screen TV, impressive massive furniture, big clean rooms. We also asked for a late check out which the desk staff had no problem in giving. Would I stay here again – absolutely!
