I recently stayed at the Renaissance Hotel for two days on a last minute business trip. This was probably one of the better hotels I have ever stayed at. I can honestly say I was greeted by every single staff person I passed in my two days of meetings and staying at the hotel. Any time I looked lost, I had someone within a minute asking me if they could direct me. All of my peers shared the same opinion. That to me is world class! My room was extremely CLEAN and very SPACIOUS. The ONE and ONLY problem I had with the hotel was that my room was about 500 feet from a runway at one the countries largest and busiest airports. During the evening it was nice to sit out on the patio and watch planes land every 30 seconds, however hearing them at 3:30am meant not getting a good night's sleep either night. Being so close to the airport also meant getting in and out of Atlanta was a breeze. Overall, a great hotel. The staff and the rooms make this hotel worth staying at. I would recommend it and would stay again, just ask for a room facing away from the airport!

Stayed her for a 1 night layover. There's not a lot of amenities because it is located by the airport but pleasure was not the purpose of my stay.

The staff were extremely friendly and engaging. I was so suprised since most "airport properties" tend to be blah..not this one! Again, the staff make the difference. The hotel seems a little older in some parts but it did get renovated not too long ago. Some of the old 70's fixtures seem to go well with it's modern-retro style??This hotel is an "atrium-style" hotel...kind of like Embassy Suites.

Being a Platinum Premier member the desk agent gave me a nice room looking over the airstrip. It was kind of neat watching the planes fly off into the sunset.

Second time at this hotel. This time I arrived at the last minute due to a flight cancellation. Took a free shuttle from the airport. Anthony at the front desk, was extremely helpful, offering us toiletries for use since our luggage was at the airport. Got rooms on the Marriott Rewards floor with access to the lounge. William was at the bar, a wonderful gentleman, so hospitable and such a good host. Rooms are up to date, great amenities. I do wish the internet was free. How does Holiday Inn Express provide free Wi-Fi when the luxury brands cannot? Great view of the runway, also. Love this hotel.

I was there with a group of about 90 people for three days of seminars. The room was comfortable, though I could not quite get the temperature right, the bed was excellent and there were enough pillows for a small army to bed down for a night.
The bathroom was serviceable, nothing special, but clean and orderly.
The house keeping was perfect, the room was spotless.
The food served at the seminars was very good; I didn't eat at the restaurant so I cannot say anything about that. The dinner served at the main banquet was quite good.
The view from the airport side of the hotel was nice, views of the planes taking off and landing. From the other side there is a distant view of the city of Atlanta.
Surprisingly, considering the hotel is literally alongside a runway, the noise of the planes was not at all intrusive.
I didn’t get a chance to use the athletic facilities but the people I spoke with said they were quite good.
