Located in the far south of Chile, the Patagonia region offers incredible outdoors adventures with breathtaking views. Although adventurers visit this region year-round, December through February are the most popular (and warmest) months, and you need to make reservations in advance.
The Torres del Paine national park is the most prominent attraction in Patagonia. It is accessible by bus from the town of Puerto Natales. Inside the park you can climb mountains and see the top of Mirador Las Torres, you can go hiking on Glacier Grey, you can go Kayaking on the Rio Serrano, or take a leisurely horseback ride through the hills.
Make sure to spend time in advance planning a trip to Patagonia. And be sure to bring enough cash with you - functioning ATMs are hard to find, and few places inside the national park accept credit cards!
