Crossgates Mall, I-87 at I-90, Western Ave, Albany- 3 floors. This mall also features so many stores that you'd have to go to their website  to see all of the stores. Deb, Macy's, JcPenney, Aeropostale, Ambercrombie, plenty of kitchen stores that are worth the visit, if you like Rachel Ray then check out the chef store on the lower level that features some of her books and kicthen utensils, FYE music/movie store, Spencer's, Lane Bryant, Discovery Channel and restaurants downstairs features Applebee's, Ruby Tuesdays, Hooters, and Johnny Rockets.

Colonie Center is smaller, 2 stories. Macy's again is a big staple here, Sears, Christmas Tree Shop. Backstage is a cool store that just opened, they have alot of things from the music industry, new and old, some blacklight things. Steve & Barry's Sportswear (across from the Christmas Tree Shop, upstairs level) is amazing for deals. Their most expensive item is $6.98! The mall does have a food court. Note that the mall is under renovation and the food court is currently closed because of construction of the new movie theatre. Restaurant choices include Friendly's (American), The Cheesecake Factory (International), Applebee's (American), and The American Cafe (American).

If you follow State Street/ Central ave east and west you'll go west is Albany into Schenectady, East is Albany into downtown Albany. There are so many cute shops to choose from. Next to Crossgates is Crossgates Commons. They have Walmart, Sam's Club and Jeepers. Jeepers has an indoor roller coaster, bumper cars, games, food, and plenty of fun. There is also Old Navy, Tweeters, Panera Bread and other stores for shopping there also. Enjoy your shopping in Albany!
