This is an excellent place to visit for adults and children alike.  There are so many animals kept in very good conditions.  The big cats are a real treat.  You walk along a raised platform that takes you right over head of the cats and therefore you are almost guaranteed a fantastic view at close range.  The park is very clean, lots of shady places to sit, comfortable seats and you can just enjoy the wonderful views over the park and salt flats.  If you fancy a sample of camel riding, then this is the place to do it.  A short ride of maybe 15 minutes is around about £1.00.  The restaurant is excellent value for money.  Drinks and meals are no more expensive than in Hammamet and are served in a large, cool and clean area.  Half a day is probably long enough as the heat can be quite intense.  But to see animals in their natural enviroment is brilliant and some keepers will go in with the elephants etc to take close up photos for you..... for the odd dinar.
