The Medina is the old town, a walled city that is quite charming.   It's definitely an attraction that draws tourists.

With six miles of coastline, the beaches are the second big draw for tourists. North and south of the Medina are areas with beautiful beaches, parks and gardens.   Many of the hotels are located outside of the city center.

Yasmine Hammamet is the new resort development just a short way from the old city.  There are numerous resorts, restaurants and shops in this modern resort area.
