The bus system will get you around town and take you to other cities.   There is one major bus station, a parking lot really, next to the tourist office.   If you go inside the tourist office you can get information and a schedule of services.   They can also tell you where you can catch the bus in other sections of town.   

On most buses you enter from the rear and pay the person sitting there. There are very few seats so you'll probably have to stand.  If you're going on a longer trip and want a seat, be sure to show up early.
